Cards Against Humanity isn’t quite as wholesome as our usual games, but with the right folks, it’s just as fun 😁😎 We had a wonderful time celebrating Friendsgiving with friends old and new 💜🥰 We are so thankful for our wonderful community! Also thankful someone brought the Bigger Blacker Box so we could see some new horrible cards 😂
Thank you @metro_detroit_game_night for throwing such a fantastic Thanksgiving party yesterday! We had a blast playing @tinyrobotlovedoctors and Deck Tales and eating mountains of delicious food. This hilarious game by @forwhygames was made entirely in the USA. Anyone in the board game industry knows how much of a challenge that is. He HAND MADE these tokens to make that possible. When we met up with him to share our board games publishing experiences, he told us all about his incredible process. Every time we play this game, seeing these components that he put so much care into instantly puts me in a better mood. They're also sparkly and our favorite colors. 🥰 Playing Allow Me to Mansplain makes us more conscious about the way we explain things to people (or fail to, rather...). If we don't reach our goal this time, we'll take all the lessons we've learned and find a better way to share this game with the world next time! Which would you play? We decided on War with the Evil Power Master. Thank you to the @oaklandcountygamers for providing the options at their Day of Games last Saturday! It was just like one of those choose your own adventure books (which we both loved as kids) in cooperative board game form! To be fair, it's more like reading a fun story than playing a board game, but we enjoy that kind of thing. The writing was hilarious and the characters dynamic. We liked it so much that we went to @sylvanfactory and bought the other Choose your own Adventure game House of Danger! Our cooperstive game Tiny Robot Love Doctors is live on kickstarter only for a few more days! It is the most wholesome challenging puzzle game you'll ever play!
